RELEASE FROM ATLAS EDITIONS Further to my news of 20th June, thank you to Mike Burns for advising me that he has received the second model in the World of Stobart collection - Stobart Rail Scania R560 RV233 Lily Jean from Atlas Editions. UPDATE ON ATLAS EDITIONS
WORLD OF STOBART SERIES "Just for you information, I was looking at my Atlas account on line this morning and I noticed that the World of Stobart (WoS) collection was showing as ‘completed’, despite only having received the first model. I rang Atlas to check the information and they checked my account. What they said was that because I ordered very early on, as indeed did yourself and no doubt numerous others and that due to the delays with the second model, the low loader, when we received the letter (with the free pen) explaining the delay, apparently this meant that my account had been stopped. This I guess, would mean that I would not receive any future releases, the lady I spoke to has now set up a new account for me, so that I can receive the WoS models as and when they come out". Since hearing from Kevin, I phoned Atlas Editions and they are starting my World of Stobart collection again from scratch (which means I will have two free Komatsu Excavators). In short, if you ordered and received a Komatsu Excavator months ago, and then subsequently received a pen from Atlas Editions saying the collection had been delayed, you need to phone Atlas Editions on 08003213337 and start the collection again from the beginning. STOBART COLLECTION I have read a report tonight suggesting that someone had received the Komatsu Excavator and the second model Stobart Rail Scania R560 RV233 Lily Jean from Atlas Editions. However, I am not certain if the model of RV233 has been received from Atlas Editions or whether it is the Oxford Diecast model issued in May 2012 . Can anyone confirm if they have received the model of RV233 from Atlas Editions please CLICK HERE to email me if you can assist? As you may be aware I received the model of the Komatsu Excavator when it was advertised as a limited tester model for the World of Stobart collection. Earlier this evening, I logged onto my account with Atlas Editions and saw that the status of my World of Stobart collection is shown as "complete" suggesting I will not get anymore models. MODELS ANNOUNCED BY OXFORD DIECAST Oxford have announced the following new models between 8.00pm & 9.00pm this evening: 1:76th Scale Regarding the Stobart Automotive Transporter, Taff from Oxford Diecast has commented: "The Transporter will have some poseable ramps, at this scale it is difficult to get the strength, but it will be able to accommodate up to 12 cars depending on the size. The cars can either be supported by pins, or for those who are a little more enthusiastic, by screwing the cars onto the ramps using the screw holes on the chassis." 1:148th scale Saturday 30th May 2015 |

EDITIONS UPDATES Approximately two weeks ago I received a letter from Atlas Editions thanking me for my custom and telling me I had received the last model in the Stobart Truck series. At that time I had not received the last model (4649141 Scania Highline Fridge - Steady Eddie) and assumed that it would arrive shortly in the post, nothing has been heard since. I phoned Atlas Editions today who told me a number of customers had been sent letters despite them not having received their last model. If you have received a letter you have not received your final model I would recommend you contact Atlas Editions Customer Services 0800 321 3337 and tell them so that they can arrange for the model to be sent. World of Stobart Series - I read a report from someone last evening who had been sent a letter by Atlas Editions with a free pen advising them that the series had been delayed due to delays producing the second model (low loader). I have not heard anything regarding this series for sometime, other than to be offered another Komatsu Excavator when I already have one! Wednesday 14th May 2015 |

MODEL ON SALE AT STOBART'S I received a report over the weekend that Stobart's had on sale in their Carlisle shop Corgi model VA12608 Eddie Stobart Ford Escort Mk2 Rally Car signed by Andy Richardson and offered at a members price of £25.99. I understand that the signature is on top of the box and the model comes with the standard Corgi numbered certificate. I am not aware how many of these signed models were available. STOBART KOMATSU EXCAVATOR I received an email today from Atlas Editions today advising me that they have reserved me a Komatsu Excavator - Stobart Rail even though I already have one! The email goes onto say that it is a priority pre-release collectors offer and I can claim it before it goes on general release.
